Food. We all eat it, only some do it more creatively than others.
I'm going to be honest here, I am not a cook. Me and my cooker are not close friends and my boyfriend despairs of my inability to follow cooking time guidelines on packaging. I prefer the - it'll be ready at some point, here let me poke it, ohh no not quite, 10 more minutes, oh it's burnt - method. He's part Italian and we nearly broke up over what we now fondly refer to as my 'spaghetti gloop' incident*.
That's all about to change.
People say that cooking is very therapeutic, so I have decided to learn to cook better, and learn some new recipes on the way. I've made a list of 30 different things I want to learn, from fresh bread to brownies to quesadillas. Due to life I will not be doing one a day, but I will definitely do one and post about it once a week.
This is by no means a comprehensive list of meals, and most of you probably think these are very easy. This is more a list of things I would like to know how to make. So without further ado, the list of my opponents:
